We got a terrific note from a former patient's mother today. Our patient Kami, is 4 ½ months out from bilateral decompression surgery of her greater, lesser, and third occipital nerves, and is already at her Florida State University Study Abroad Program. She’s hiking the Pyrenees Mountains in Spain with her classmates and able to live her life.
Kami is a great example of how chronic headaches don’t have to be a life sentence. Occipital Neuralgia doesn’t have to ruin your life. Surgery can give you your life back and help get you back out into the world, just like Kami. Only a few months after her operation, she is back on track.
